Gypsy

The first renaissance festival was held in 1963 by schoolteacher Phyllis Patterson and her husband in the Hollywood Hills. Since then, fairs and festivals have popped up all over the US and are attended by millions of patrons annually.

This series is a look into the lives of the workers that make the Renaissance Festivals happen. This close knit community of Gypsies travel the country to sell their wares and entertain the masses.

Prints in this series are limited edition (25 per size).
